When you give to Riley Children's Foundation, you give hope to thousands of families seeking help for seriously ill and injured children; help that only Riley Hospital for Children can provide.
Many medical specialty areas at Riley Hospital are not self-sustaining. Without external financial support, the dedicated experts at Riley Hospital could not conduct groundbreaking pediatric research, deliver expert clinical care or sustain the cutting-edge facilities that our children need and deserve. Generous donors ensure that Riley continues to provide the comprehensive services our children need.
Each year supporters across the state pledge to help the kids 0at Riley through fundraising events. This year, Smackdown Cancer event will be held August 26 through the 29th at Kokomo Speedway. The event spans over 4 days during the races and includes Kick it karaoke, live auctions, drawings, and a kickball game with the drivers and kids. This will be the 14th year for this event, and the goal is to raise $170,000 to reach a total 14 year giving amount of $1 million dollars.
We need your help to make Smackdown Cancer a big success. We are requesting monetary donations as well as various items for the live auction. Every single donation is greatly appreciated! 100% of the proceeds support cancer research at Riley Hospital for Children through the Riley Children's Foundation, and this year you can double your support. We are working with the Walther Foundation, who is matching all funds raised, dollar for dollar, for our event to support pediatric cancer research. By joining the Smackdown Cancer group, you are helping thousands of children fighting cancer. If you donate an item for the auction, please reach out to Melinda or Jessica at the contacts below.
